Edge Loop Selector - Blender Addon

What is Edge Loop Selector?

Edge Loop Selector is a Blender addon that allows you to select the next edge loop in just one step.

Usage:

Simply install the addon and you are all set to go.

• In Edit mode (Edge selection), first, select one edge loop with 'Alt LMB' (left mouse button).
• select a second edge loop with 'Alt Shift LMB' to indicate in which direction you want to select the next edge loops.
• Then, whenever you need to select the edge loop just :
  • Press 'N' to open the sidebar menu - click on 'Tool' - Open the 'Loop Edge Selector' panel - and click on the button 'Run it'.
  • Or Pressing 'Shift Ctrl Q'.

If you Want to change the hotkey:

• Go to 'Edit'-> 'Preferences'-> 'Keymap'.
• In the search bar, type 'run'.
• Next to the 'Run it' text, Press on the 'Shift Ctrl Q' button
• and Press on the new key you want to assign to this action.
